Click OK.
In the Local Area Connection Properties dialog box, click OK.
In the Local Area Connection Status dialog box, click Close.
From the Windows Start menu, choose Control Panel > Network Connections.
Note
If the Network Connections menu item is not available, click Switch to Classic View.
From the Network Connections dialog box, click the Local Area Connection icon.
From the Local Area Connection Properties dialog box, choose Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), then
click Properties.
In the IP Address field, enter an IP address that is identical to the ONS 15454 IP address except for
the last octet. The last octet must be 1 or 3 through 254. This IP address appears on the LCD unless
its display is suppressed during node provisioning.
In the Subnet Mask field, type 255.255.255.0.
In the Default Gateway field, type the ONS 15454 IP address.
Click OK.
In the Local Area Connection Properties dialog box, click OK.
In the Local Area Connection Status dialog box, click Close.
This task sets up your computer for craft connection to the ONS 15454
using Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).
