NTP-H32 Path Protection Acceptance Test

Verify that the alarm filter is not on. See the
page 16-107 as necessary.
Verify that no unexplained alarms appear on the network. If alarms are present, investigate and
resolve them before continuing. Refer to the Cisco ONS 15310-MA SDH Troubleshooting Guide if
necessary.
Complete the "DLP-H223 Export CTC Data" task on page 18-20
your hard drive.
Verify that the network does not have any unexplained conditions. If unexplained conditions are
present, resolve them before continuing. Refer to the Cisco ONS 15310-MA SDH Troubleshooting
Guide if necessary.
Complete the "DLP-H223 Export CTC Data" task on page 18-20
on your hard drive.
For E1 circuits, complete the
page 5-5. When you set the circuit state, choose unlocked and check the Apply to drop ports check
box.
For DS3/E3 circuits, complete the
procedure on page 5-15. When you set the circuit state, choose unlocked and check the Apply to
drop ports check box.
For STM-M circuits, complete the
procedure on page 5-32. When you set the circuit state, choose unlocked and check the Apply to
drop ports check box.
Wideband Electrical ports (WBE) E1—On the ONS 15310-MA SDH, if you are testing an unmuxed
E1, use the Champ connectors on the BICs on the rear of the chassis. Set the test set for E1. For
information about configuring your test set, consult your test set user guide.
