Chapter 4
Turn Up a Network
Remove any loopbacks, switches, or test sets from the nodes after all testing is complete. Refer to the

In network view, click the Alarms tab and click Synchronize. Verify that the network does not have any
unexplained alarms. If unexplained alarms are present, resolve them before continuing. Refer to the

If a node fails any test, repeat the test while verifying correct setup and configuration. If the test fails
