From the Windows Start menu, choose Control Panel > Network Connections.

From the Local Area Connection Properties dialog box, choose Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), then

In the IP Address field, enter any legitimate IP address other than the current node IP address. The

In the Subnet Mask field, type the same subnet mask as the ONS 15310-MA SDH. The default is

255.255.255.0 (24 bit).

If you have Windows Vista installed on your PC, complete the following steps to change its TCP/IP

From the Windows Start menu, choose Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and

Sharing Center > Manage network connections.
Right-click the Local Area Connection icon, then click Properties.

Click the Networking tab. Under This connection uses the following items, click Internet

Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), then click Properties.
Click Use the following IP address, then in the IP Address field, enter any legitimate IP address
