From the Edit menu in node view, choose Preferences.

In the Preferences dialog box, click the Circuit tab.

Complete one or more of the following steps, as required:

As needed, change the color of the active span:

Return the active and standby spans to their default colors:

This task changes the color of active (working) and standby (protect)
circuit spans on the detailed circuit map of the Edit Circuits window. By
default, working spans are green and protect spans are purple.

In the Pick a Color dialog box, click the color for the active span, or click the Reset button if you
want the active span to display the last applied (saved) color.
Click OK to close the Pick a Color dialog box. If you want to change the standby span color,

click Apply to save the change and keep the Preferences dialog box open.
In the Span Colors area, click the colored square next to Standby.
