Action
Remove the thrust washer and cover
washer, and wipe them clean.
Note
Make a note on which side the covers are
placed.
Wipe the shafts and the holes for the shafts
clean.
Apply corrosion protection on both sides
of the bearings, and on all machined sur-
faces on the parallel rod.
Put back the thrust washer (left side) and
cover washer (right side).
