1.2.3 Preparing Tools

This topic describes how to prepare the tools required before the commissioning. This facilitates
the subsequent commissioning.

through the serial port.

MA5608T for maintenance
through telnet.
Used for the upstream
transmission and optical
power test.
Used to log in to the
MA5600T/MA5603T/
MA5608T to commission the
MA5600T/MA5603T/
MA5608T.
Used to test the mean
launched power and the input
optical power of an optical
port.
Used to attenuate the input
optical signal. It is used to
protect the optical port from
being damaged by intense
optical signals during the
device commissioning.
Used to measure the voltage,
resistance and current
intensity during the power
commissioning.
