Cisco CMTS Configuration Commands
cable time-server
To enable the integrated time-of-day (ToD) server on the Cisco CMTS series, enter the cable time-
server command in global configuration mode. To disable the time-of-day server function, use the no
form of this command.

This command has no keywords or arguments.

Per the DOCSIS specifications, the ToD server uses the UDP protocol, so UDP minor servers must also
be enabled using the service udp-small-servers max-servers no-limit command.

router(config)# service udp-small-servers max-servers no-limit
