Examples
The following example shows the default configuration, which is to specify automatic insertion
intervals, using the default initial ranging intervals:
Router# configure terminal
Router(config)# interface cable 3/0
Router(config-if)# cable insertion-interval automatic
Router(config-if)#
The following example shows how to set the minimum insertion interval to 100 ms:
Router# configure terminal
Router(config)# interface cable 5/1/0
Router(config-if)# cable insertion-interval 100
Router(config-if)#
