25. Install the wear ring into the widest groove on the
piston (Fig. 0166).
26. Install the back-up ring into the narrowest groove on
the piston (Fig. 0167).

27. Install the seal into the narrowest groove of the
piston on top of the back-up ring (Fig. 0168).
Note: Lubricate all parts during assembly.
28. Secure the cylinder rod into a vise.
29. Apply some tape or plastic cover over the threads of
the rod to protect the installation of the o-ring (Fig.
0169).
