4-Spool Valve Replacement (Diesel)

4-Spool Valve Removal

Note: Upon removal, all seals, o-rings and gaskets
should be replace. During installation, lightly
lubricate all seals, o-rings and gaskets with
clean petroleum jelly prior to assembly.
1. Park the machine on a level surface.
2. Turn the machine off and remove the key.
3. Unlatch and open the engine rear cover.
4. Loosen the hose clamp securing the air cleaner
hose to the engine. Remove the air cleaner hose
from the engine (Fig. 1318).

5. Remove the two bolts and nuts securing the air
cleaner assembly to the mounting bracket (Fig.
1319).
6. Remove the air cleaner assembly from the machine
(Fig. 1320).
