28. Lift up the red boot covering the positive battery
cable connection. Disconnect the positive battery
cable from the battery (Fig. 1620).
29. Using a 17mm socket, remove the bolt securing the
ground wires to the chassis (Fig. 1621).

30. Slide the red boot off the starter terminal (Fig. 1622).
31. Using a 12mm socket, remove the nut from the
starter terminal (Fig. 1623).
