26. With the fuel solenoid spring loose, position the fuel
stop so it is up against the fuel stop adjusting screw.
If the solenoid rod end does not align with the hole
in the fuel stop (Fig. 1717), loosen the fuel solenoid
jam nut (Fig. 1718) and rotate the solenoid rod in or
out (Fig. 1719) until it can be inserted into the fuel
stop (Fig. 1720). Tighten the jam nut to secure the
fuel solenoid rod (Fig. 1721).
