99-3040 Counterbalance Valve
Rebuild
1. Secure the counterbalance valve in a vise.
2. Remove both cartridges from the valve (Fig. 0008).
3. Remove the needle valve assembly (Fig. 0009).

4. Replace the o-rings and back-up rings on both
cartridges (Fig. 0010).
