40. Position the muffler onto the engine manifold studs
aligning the muffler bracket mounting holes with the
mounting holes on the engine (Fig. 0841).
41. Loosely install 2 bolts securing the muffler bracket to
the engine (Fig. 0842).

42. Loosely install 4 lock washers and nuts securing the
muffler to the engine manifold studs (Fig. 0843).
43. Use a 1/2" socket to tighten the 4 muffler manifold
nuts (Fig. 0844).
