17. Install a washer and a lock nut to secure the pulley
to the fan shaft (Fig. 1998).
18. Turn the pump mount assembly over and install a
square key in the fan shaft (Fig. 1999).

19. Slide the fan adapter onto the fan shaft with the flat
hub side toward the bearing (Fig. 2000).
20. Install a washer and lock nut to secure the fan
adapter to the shaft (Fig. 2001).
