3.7.1 Carrying out surface measurement

CHAPTER 1 SCREEN OPERATIONS
1)
Press the menu

Surface start

Carry out an operation such
as a reference point return to
position the tool on the
reference point.

Turn ON the measurement
switch on the machine
operation board.
4)
Move the spindle near the
workpiece using manual feed
and manual handle feed.
5)
Put the spindle in contact with
the workpiece in the X
direction.
6)
Select the workpiece
coordinate offset in which the
measurement data will be set.

Press the menus
Coord G54-G59 G55
select G55.
7)
Press the menu
Coord write
8)
Carry out the operations in
steps 4) to 7) in the same way
for the Y and Z axes.
9)
Return the spindle to the
reference point, and turn OFF
the measurement switch.

is displayed in the X axis section of the measurement
counter.
