From the View menu, choose Go to Network View.
Step 1
Right-click the span where you want to clear the switch. Choose Circuits from the shortcut menu.
Step 2
Step 3 In the Circuits on Span dialog box, choose CLEAR to remove the switch. Click Apply.
Step 4 In the Confirm UPSR Switch dialog box, click Yes.

A Force switch request on a span or card causes CTC to raise a FORCED-REQ condition. The
condition clears when you clear the Force switch; it is informational only.
Use this task to clear a path protection Force switch.
