Chapter 3
Turn Up Node
On the General subtab under XTC CORBA (IIOP) Listener Port, choose a listener port option:
Step 2
Default - XTC Fixed—Select this option if the ONS 15327s are on the same side of the firewall as
the CTC computer or if no firewall is used (default). This option sets the ONS 15327 listener port
to Port 57790. It can be used for access through a firewall if Port 57790 is open.
Standard Constant—Select this option to use Port 683, the CORBA default port number, as the ONS
15327 listener port.
Other Constant—If Port 683 is not used, type the IIOP port specified by your firewall administrator.
The port cannot use any of the ports shown in
Table 3-1

Step 3
When the Change Network Configuration message appears, click Yes.
Step 4
Both ONS 15327 XTCs will reboot, one at a time. The reboot will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
Return to your originating procedure (NTP).
