If the egress interface is not specified, the default interface is selected. Specifying
interface zone=0 is equal to not defining an egress interface.
Example
switchxxxxxx(config)# ipv6 default-gateway fe80::abcd
To configure an IPv6 address for the management VLAN, use the management
vlan ipv6-address Global Configuration mode command.
Syntax
management vlan ipv6-address
Parameters
ipv6-address
—The IPv6 network assigned to the interface. This argument
must be in the form documented in RFC 2373 where the address is
specified in hexadecimal using 16-bit values between colons.
prefix-length
prefix-length
decimal value that indicates how many of the high-order contiguous bits of
the address comprise the prefix (the network portion of the address).
(Range: 0 to 128)
Default Configuration
No IPv6 address is defined for the management VLAN.

User Guidelines
If the value specified for the prefix-length argument is greater than 64 bits, the
prefix bits have precedence over the interface ID.
