Status messages
A message about DGPS operations is displayed at the lower
half of the GPS SATELLITE STATUS screen. These messages
are described in "Table 3: DGPS status messages" below.

Table 3: DGPS status messages

Meaning
DGPS corrections are being received and used.
No DGPS corrections have been received within the
time limit. The 961 has returned to non-differential
operation.
A differential receiver isn't installed.
The differential (beacon) transmitter reports technical
problems.
Data received from the satellites is unreliable.
Data received from the satellites is unreliable.
Either the GPS receiver can't operate until it has
received ephemeris data from the satellites, or else
the receiver isn't tracking enough satellites yet for a
fix.
DGPS was turned off at the
screen.
The 961 beacon receiver is present, but the DGPS
system has been disabled (under the Receiver Setup
function).
The system is waiting for the 961 beacon receiver to
report fully synched differential data.
The monitor station that measures differential data
currently has poor satellite geometry.
There are too few satellites available.
The 961's DGPS signal-quality information is available from
either the internal differential receiver or a Northstar external
RECEIVER SETUP
