4. Press the INSERT key (or press the CANCEL key to can-
cel).
If you changed the active waypoint, the 961 goes to the
STEER screen showing COORD as the new active way-
point; if you selected a future waypoint, the 961 returns to
the TRIP screen.
In either case, the TRIP screen displays the new COORD
waypoint.
To add a new waypoint to the end of your trip:
1. At the TRIP screen, press the GO TO NEW COORDS key.
You don't have to select any particular waypoint, since the
waypoint will be added to the end (the resulting dialog
box will be titled as to which point you've chosen).
2. Use the KEYPAD to enter your desired new destination as
lat/lon, TDs, or distance and bearing.
3. Press the ADD TO END OF TRIP key (or press the CAN-
CEL key to cancel).
The 961 returns to the TRIP screen and shows COORD
as the new waypoint added to the end of the trip. If the trip
had an active waypoint, current navigation isn't affected. If
the trip didn't have an active waypoint, you'll begin navi-
gating to this new waypoint, and the 961 goes to the
STEER screen.
To go directly to a future waypoint:
1. At the TRIP screen, select the desired future waypoint.
2. Press the GO TO SELECTION key.
