Use the GO TO key to:
•
go to new coordinates now
•
add new coordinates to the end of your trip
•
restart your track to the active waypoint, if necessary
Use the NEW CHART key to:
•
view charts—of the same scale already being viewed until
there is a better scale to choose from—that cover your ves-
sel's location (press briefly)
•
view a list of all charts that cover the vessel's location
(press and hold the NEW CHART key) or the cursor's loca-
tion (first press the CURSOR PAD, then press the NEW
CHART key)
•
view a list of all charts in the 961's chart database (press
and hold)
•
change the usage of any chart (press and hold)
•
select a lat/lon grid instead of a chart (press and hold)
•
retrieve information about any selected chart (press and
hold)
