remove points from the trip (all points or only selected
ones)
Use the SAVE TRIP AS ROUTE key to:
save the trip as a permanent route in the 961's database
Use the STOP NAV/RESUME NAV key (not shown if there isn't
an active waypoint) to:
stop navigation alarms, waypoint sequencing, and autopi-
lot control, or else resume
Use the DATE-DIST/BRG-TIME key to:
switch the ARRIVAL column of the trip list between day
and time of arrival, day and date of arrival, and distance
and bearing between trip points
For in-depth information about the trip function, see "Using
the Trip Function" starting on page 11-1.
Pressing the WAYPTS/ROUTES key lets you create new way-
points, routes, tracks, and avoidance points; access, sort, and
key
edit lists of stored waypoints, routes, tracks, and avoidance
points; navigate to a stored waypoint; and follow a stored
route.
You can also create and store waypoints and routes directly from

The WAYPTS/ROUTES key controls four functions; each key-
press displays a separate screen in the following order:
