The 961 generates dead-reckoned position information as if it
was coming from GPS fixes. Whenever you go to a new posi-
tion or otherwise change your desired track, the 961 changes
your dead-reckoning course to correspond.
You have the option to simulate NMEA and PPNM (pulses per
nautical mile) output for 10 minutes while in demo mode.
With this option, any connected systems will believe that the
961 is operating with real GPS information, and will output
data for 10 minutes.
Serial output, including commands to the autopilot, is inhib-
ited or deemed invalid.
Before you start demo mode, you must first set your starting
