961 Operations and Reference Manual Rev. D
The HCRF PERMITS screen displays all the HCRF permits on
the 961. These permits are listed by:
•
chart number
•
name (provided that the chart is installed on the 961)
•
usage (normal or delete)
•
for Skipper permits, the date of last correction in the N TO
M column (Notice to Mariners)
•
for Navigator permits, expiration date in the EXPIRES col-
umn
On this screen, you can sort or search the permit list, display
detailed chart information (by pressing the INFO key), or mark
a permit for deletion (which will also delete the chart). For
details about deleting permits, see "Common chart functions"
starting on page 13-57.
Entering your NOC and user permit
To obtain a NOC and user permit, you must call the Northstar
Service Department (not your dealer), who will require your
name, address, vessel name, and 961 serial number, before you
