Chapter 13 - Customizing Setup Functions

just received an Update
CD for your charts, and
want to update the charts
in the 961.

Updating HCRF charts
Update CDs are cumulative, meaning that all corrections from
previous weeks are included on the Update CD. So, if you
haven't installed the Update CD from a previous week, you
can just skip to the most current weekly Update CD to load the
most current chart information.
To update HCRF charts, you'll need:
the Update CD (contains the updates to the charts); and if
you've received a new floppy disk with your Update CD,
be sure to use this disk as well during the updating pro-
cess.
1. Press the STAR key until you display the SETUP MENU
screen, then press the CHART INVENTORY key.
2. At the CHART INVENTORY screen, press the LOAD/
UPDATE CHARTS key.
3. Insert the Update CD into the CD-ROM drive.
4. Press the UPDATE CHARTS key.
The 961 finds all HCRF charts to be updated and updates
them.
5. At the UPDATING CHARTS dialog box, press the CON-
FIRM key.
The 961 updates the charts and displays the HCRF SUM-
MARY dialog box. Each chart updated is represented by a
different horizontal line, with updating details for the high-
lighted line displayed at the bottom (press the CURSOR
PAD up or down to highlight each individual chart). The
far-left column displays either the word OK, or an error
number, if any. If the 961 displays an error, write down the
error number and see "Table 12: HCRF chart errors" on
page 13-49.
