2. If the start of the route isn't already selected, press the
MOVE UP key to highlight the start of the route (remem-
ber: don't highlight the first waypoint at the bottom half
of the screen; press the MOVE UP key to highlight the
start of the route displayed at the top half of the screen).
3. Press the INSERT key to insert the selected waypoint at
the beginning of the route.
4. When finished, press the DONE key to store the changes
to the 961's database and return to the ROUTES screen.
Inserting waypoints at the end of a route
1. At the EDIT ROUTE screen, press the CURSOR PAD up or
down to select the waypoint that you want to add to the
route, or search for the desired waypoint as described
above.
2. If the end of the route isn't already selected, press the
MOVE DOWN key to highlight the end of the route
(remember: don't highlight the last waypoint at the bot-
tom half of the screen; press the MOVE DOWN key to
highlight the end of the route displayed at the top half of
the screen).
3. Press the INSERT key to insert the selected waypoint at
the end of the route.
4. When finished, press the DONE key to store the changes
to the 961's database and return to the ROUTES screen.
Inserting waypoints to a route leg
1. At the EDIT ROUTE screen, press the CURSOR PAD up or
down to select the waypoint that you want to add to the
route, or search for the desired waypoint as described
above.
2. Press either the MOVE UP or MOVE DOWN keys to high-
light the desired route leg between two waypoints, then
press the INSERT key to insert the selected waypoint in
this route leg.
3. When finished, press the DONE key to store the changes
to the 961's database and return to the ROUTES screen.
