Use the OVERLAY key to:
•
view the NOAA tide station overlay on the CHART screen
and view 24 hours of graphical tide data for a chosen date
•
view the currents overlay on the CHART screen and view
24 hours of currents data for a chosen date
Use the CLEAR key to:
•
clear the CHART screen of menu keys (by pressing briefly)
•
clear the CHART screen of menu keys, INFO BARs, and
other chart symbols (by pressing and holding the CLEAR
key for a few seconds)
Use the INFO keys to:
•
display speed-over-ground (SOG) and course-over-ground
(COG)
•
display lat/lon coordinates
•
display Loran-C GRI and TDs (if specified at the CHART
SETUP screen)
•
display your active waypoint (if any), distance and bearing
to the waypoint, numerical and graphical cross-track error
(XTE), estimated time of arrival (ETA), and estimated time
enroute (ETE)
•
display details about the chart-in-use, including its name,
number, source, and revision date. If you're displaying an
HCRF chart such as ARCS, the INFO BAR displays the
chart series (Navigator or Skipper); expiration date (Navi-
gator series only); correction level (the Notice to Mariner's
number to which the chart has been corrected); name and
date of the corresponding Chart CD; and name and date
of the corresponding Update CD.

The STAR key controls three separate functions; each key-
press displays a separate screen in the following order (the
ALARMS screen is always shown first):
