3.7 (Optional) Installing a 300 mm Wide Air Conditioner
Enclosure Frame
Context
To increase the equipment depth to 1200 mm, install enclosure frames whose BOM number is
21242048 on the front doors of air conditioners.
Procedure
Step 1 Open the front door, and remove the LCD power cable and front door ground cable. Then lift
and remove the front door.
Step 2 Remove one bolt fastener, two cabinet connecting kits, and two front door mounting kits.
Step 3 Secure an enclosure frame to the front door frame using eight M5x10 tapping screws, and
then secure the bolt fastener, cabinet connecting kits, and front door mounting kits to the
enclosure frame.

Step 4 Install the front door on the enclosure frame.
Step 5 Install the LCD power cable. Connect the ground cable under the front door to the enclosure
frame according to the label on the enclosure frame.
Step 6 Cut the cable ties securing the LCD power cable to the cabinet, and ensure that the door can
be opened and closed smoothly.
