Issue 01 (2017-07-30)
Figure 11-3 Binding cables in different colors
Separate AC power cables to the UPS from signal cables and DC power cables. Keep the
cable spacing greater than 100 mm or use ground metal for isolation purposes. Preferably
route the cables along different sides of cabinets. Separate other AC and DC power
cables from diverse non-shielded signal cables. Keep the cable spacing greater than 20
mm or use ground metal for isolation purposes. Do not bind the cables together.
Preferably route the cables along different sides of cabinets.
Do not bind AC or DC power cables with any non-shielded signal cables.
There is no limit on the spacing between diverse shielded signal cables.
Unless otherwise specified in a design file, ensure that the bend radius (R) of a cable
meets the following requirements:
Common cable: R ≥ 3d
Optical fiber: R ≥ 40 mm
R indicates the bend radius, and d indicates the cable diameter.
Provide slack at cable connection positions to facilitate connection and disconnection
and to prevent stress. Do not leave the cables tight and prevent connector misalignment,
as shown in
Figure
11-4.
