MITSUBISHI CNC
Appendix 2 Explanation of Alarms
Warning No.
Battery voltage drop
9F
The battery voltage that is supplied to the absolute position detector dropped. The absolute position data is retained.
Investigation details
Change the used battery and check whether
1
the warning does not occur. (Turning the
power OFF and ON is required.)
Check whether the battery cable is
2
disconnected, broken, or wired incorrectly.
3
Measure the new battery voltage.
Check whether the cable connecting
4
between the battery box and CN9 is short-
circuited, broken, or wired incorrectly.
Disconnect the BT-LG cable of the battery
box, and then measure the voltage between
5
DO(ALM) and DOCOM terminals at power
ON.
Perform a conductivity check with the
detector cable between BT and LG of the
drive unit in which the warning was
6
detected.
(Note) Make sure that the detector side
connector is disconnected.
(Note)
When warning 9F occurs, do not turn the drive unit power OFF to ensure that the absolute position data is held.
Replace the battery with the drive unit power ON.
Distance-coded reference check / initial setup warning
Warning No.
When the detector with distance-coded reference marks is used, this warning is issued until the axis reaches the reference
A3
position during the initial setup of the distance-coded reference check function. This warning disappears after the axis has
reached the position.
Investigation details
1
Warning does not disappear.
Warning No.
Fan stop warning
A6
A cooling fan built in the drive unit stopped.
Investigation details
1
Check the alarm No. "45" items.
Warning No.
Over regeneration warning
E0
Over-regeneration detection level exceeded 80%.
Investigation details
1
Check the acceleration/deceleration cycle.
2
Check the load inertia.
Warning No.
Overload warning
E1
Overload detection level exceeded 80%.
Investigation details
1
Check if the motor is hot.
Check if an error occurs when executing
2
acceleration/deceleration operation.
3
Check the alarm No. "50" items.

Error is found in operation.
Remedies
The battery has been drained.
Check the investigation item No. 2.
Correct the connection.
Replace the cable.
Check the investigation item No. 3.
Replace the battery.
Check the investigation item No. 6.
When a battery box is used, check the
investigation item No. 4.
Correct the connection.
Replace the cable.
Check the investigation item No. 5.
Replace the battery box.
Check the investigation item No. 6.
Replace the cable.
Replace the detector.
(With the absolute position system, the zero
point must be established.)
Remedies
Setup again.
Remedies
Remedies
Extend the cycle operation time to the
length that will not cause a warning.
Check the investigation item No. 2.
Lower the load inertia.
Remedies
Check the alarm No. "50" items.
Check the investigation item No. 2.
Ease the operation patter, if possible. If no
alarm occurs, operation can be continued
as it is.
Check the investigation item 3 or later of
