Problem
The cutting deck blades do not turn.
The cutting deck blade(s) turn too slowly.
The PTO does not stop when disengaged.

• There is a mechanical problem with the cutting deck; refer

• An electrical problem exists that prevents the PTO from
engaging; refer to

• The engine coolant temperature is high.
• The PTO solenoid valve is stuck or damaged (not shifting).
• The charge pump is damaged (the traction charge circuit
is also affected).
• The PTO relief valve is damaged.
• The engine speed is too low.

• The transmission PTO clutch is worn or damaged.
