Failure to maintain proper torque could result in failure or loss of
wheel and may result in personal injury.
Maintain the proper torque of the wheel-lug nuts.
8. Lubricate all the grease fittings in the front steering assembly.
9. Check and adjust the wheel alignment; refer to
6–8).
10. Ensure that there is no contact between the machine components while
the wheels move from steering lock to lock. With the steering cylinder fully
extended, and when fully retracted, a 1.3 mm (0.05 inch) gap should exist
between the steering stop bolt head and the adjacent steering fork. Adjust
the steering stop bolt if necessary.
