Attaching the Cover Edge Lifting Guide

Attach this guide if the cover edge drops after nipping and hits against the cover which is fed to the
nipping section.
Press the Emergency Stop button.
Remove the cover lifting guide.
• See page 86.
Attach the supplied cover edge lifting
guide.
• Attach the guide in the position where the cover
edge guide will not hit against the cover tail
edge positioner.
After you finish the job to need the cover
edge lifting guide, replace the supplied cover
edge lifting guide with the cover transport
guide.
This prevents the cover from being scratched
by the cover edge lifting guide and eliminates
the possibility of scratch on the cover.
