Disengage the upper scoring rollers so
that they move freely.
(1) Open the upper cover feed section cover.
(2) Turn the locking knobs on both sides to release
the locks.
(3) Loosen the pressure adjusting knobs on both
sides by turning them counterclockwise.
• Lift the upper scoring shaft, and turn the
pressure adjusting knobs counterclockwise
until the upper scoring rollers for spine move
freely.
Loosen the locking screws on the upper
and lower scoring rollers for the flap cover
sheets and on the drive rollers.
• Loosen the locking screws using the 2.5 mm
hex driver.
• If you cannot reach the locking screws easily,
insert the manual handwheel and turn the shaft
for the scoring rollers.
When you move the scale plate, be sure
that the scale is parallel with the shaft. If
the scale plate is tilted, the scale plate
hits the roller and may scratch the roller.
