If you need to change the type of spine glue when the job is also changing, replace the glue tank and set the notching
cutter and PUR chip cutter.
• Before loosening the mounting screws
for the milling cutter, be sure to turn the
power switch off. Also, place a piece of
thick cloth over the cutter to ensure that
your hands will not touch the cutter.
• Wear work gloves for this job, and avoid
touching the edge of the cutter blade.
The sharp edges may cut you.
• The melt tank is still hot immediately
after the power is turned off. Do not
touch the tank.
Adjust he height of the notching cutter.
(1) Perform the steps
Replacing the EVA Notching Cutters].
(2) Push down each notching cutter using a folded
piece of thick cloth.
• There is a spring under the notching
cutter, and when its fix screw is loosened,
it might pop out.
• If the notching cutter is not in the position
for adjustment, see the step
Section 5-13 and change the position of
the notching cutter.
(3) Loosen the mounting screw for each notching
cutter using a 2.5 mm Allen wrench.
(4) Push the notching cutter in to the bottom end
and lock the mounting screw.
(5) Set the other notching cutter as well.
