Cleaning the Book Deliver Confirmation Sensor

The book deliver confirmation sensors will not work correctly if they are covered with paper dust or
dust. If the delivery section jam error (error code 1873) is displayed even though the book is
transported smoothly, the sensor or mirror may be dirty. Clean them periodically.
Press the button of exit guide on
the Information - Single Operation Delivery
Screen.
The exit guide opens to the home position.
Press the Emergency Stop button.
Open the side safety cover.
Clean the book deliver confirmation
sensors from the place where the safety
cover is opened.
• Use a brush to clean the two sensors and
mirrors.
Close the side safety cover, release the
Emergency Stop button, and press the
button of exit guide on the
Information - Single Operation Delivery
Screen.
The carriage clamp returns to the original
position.
