Adding the Glue

Add the glue to the melt tanks for the side glue and
the EVA spine glue from the opening.
Do not touch the melt tanks.
The melt tanks are heated to a
temperature of about 200°C (400°F), and
you may be burned if you touch them.
• Add the side glue before the level of the
glue in the tank drops more than 8 mm
(0.31") below the upper limit.
If too little glue is left in the tank, it can
harden easily, and create a drag on the
rollers.
• Add the spine glue before the level of the
glue in the tank drops more than 15mm
(0.59") below the upper limit.
Open the left front cover.
Add more glue.
• Use Horizon HM-221 for the EVA spine glue.
• Use Horizon HM-403 for the side glue.
Add more glue through the opening. Be
careful that the glue level does not rise
above the red line marking the upper
limit.
Close the left front cover.
