What to Do If the Glue Has Overflowed

If the side glue or spine glue (EVA tank) has overflowed, it will collect in the glue collection tray.
Dispose of the glue in this tray by following the steps listed below.
The spine glue tank has a high
temperature of about 200°C (400°F). Wear
insulating thermo gloves to do this job.
The hot glue can cause burns.
Open the nipping section bottom cover.
Pull out the tank unit.
(1) Loosen the locking knob.
(2) Pull the tank unit toward you.
(3) Tighten the locking knob to secure the tank
unit.
Take out the glue collection tray, and
dispose of the glue.
If the glue is still hot, dispose of it after it
has cooled off.
Close the tank unit.
(1) Loosen the locking knob.
(2) Close the tank unit.
(3) Tighten the locking knob to secure the tank
unit.
Close the nipping section bottom cover.
