Adjusting the Cover Angle

The cover angle can be corrected by adjusting the
angle of the cover tail edge positioner.
Only make this adjustment after checking
that the covers have been trimmed
accurately.
If they have not been trimmed properly,
adjust the angle, and after the job be
absolutely sure to return to the original
setting.
Open the nipping section lower cover.
Adjust the cover angle.
• When the cover angle adjusting knob is turned
clockwise, the front side of the cover tail edge
positioner moves toward the nipper.
Close the nipping section lower cover.
