3-2-3 Job setup using the screens

The following sections include instructions on setting up different parts of the machine.
Select the bookbinding mode.
• Select either the "bookbinding with cover sheet"
or "bookbinding without cover sheet."
• has been selected in this example.
Select milling.
• Select "Level," "Angle" or "Off (no milling)."

• Set the milling set lever so it matches the
setting on the screen.
- If the setting on the touch panel is different
from the setting of the milling set lever, an
error icon is displayed on the screen.
Check the position of the milling set lever,
and move it if necessary.
- When you bind the book with PUR glue
and select "Level", set the wiper opening
to +0.2mm / 0.01" or wider. (See page 49
for details.)
Select nipping.
• Select "nipping with milling," "nipping without
milling" or "no nipping (top glue)."
