Setting the Covers

Pull back the end stopper.
• Loosen the locking lever, and move the end
stopper toward the edge of the cover table.
Fan the covers thoroughly.
After fanning the covers thoroughly, put
them in place on the table.
Double feeding or mis-feeding may occur
if the covers are not fanned correctly.
Stack the covers.
• Place the covers between the side guides, and
push them toward the sheet feed side to square
them up.
Set the end stopper.
• With the rear edge of the covers touching the
end stopper, turn the locking lever to lock it.
If the covers are curled
• If the covers are noticeably curled, uncurl them
before stacking them on the table.
• Use the cover holder to hold the curled parts of
the covers in place.
