Adjusting the Milling Depth

The milling depth changes depending on the number of
spacers placed under the level plate.
• If the book block is thick and the drag on the milling
cutters is high, increase the number of spacers to reduce
the milling depth.
Press on the Bookbinding –
Operation screen.
The display changes to the Bookbinding –
Maintenance screen.
Press .
The carriage clamp moves, and the level
plate becomes visible.
Press the Emergency Stop button.
This is the part of the book block
which is cut off by the milling
