1-2-2 Book Block Feed Section
Book Block Registering Shaft
This shaft aligns the book blocks to the right after they
have been fed into the carriage clamp.
Book Block Support Guide
This is installed to prevent the book blocks
from falling forward when they are inserted
into the carriage clamps. Two different guides
are available.
Emergency Stop Button
Operation stops if this button is
pressed. The button can be
reset by turning it clockwise.
Level Plate
Level Plate
This aligns the bottom of each book block to a uniform
height. By wedging spacers underneath the plate and
changing its height, it is possible to change the milling
cutting depth. See Section 3-8 for more details.

Bookbinding Start Buttons
When a book block is inserted and these buttons are pressed, a cover is
fed to the standby position. Bookbinding starts when the buttons are
pressed again. If the buttons are pressed with no book blocks in the
carriage clamp, the clamp rotates. (In this case, no covers will be fed.)
Area Sensor
If an operator puts his hand into the book
block feed section while the machine is
operating, this is detected by the sensor, and
the machine stops immediately.
