3-3-2 Without cover scoring

Disengage the scoring rollers so that they
move freely.
(1) Open the cover feed section cover.
(2) Turn the locking knobs on both sides to
disengage the locks.
(3) Loosen both of the pressure adjusting knobs by
turning them counterclockwise.
• Lift the upper scoring shaft, and loosen the
pressure adjusting knobs by turning them
counterclockwise until the upper scoring roller
moves freely.
Pull the upper scoring roller to the rear,
and lock it by clamping it with the ring.
If the upper scoring roller remains in the
forward position during a changeover for
a thick book, it may hit the lower scoring
roller. This could damage the knife.
Tighten the pressure adjusting knobs.
(Tighten them by the same amount on
each side.)
• Stop tightening the pressure adjusting knobs
when they feel a little stiff. At this point, the
upper and lower transport rollers are just
touching each other.
Turn the locking knobs on both sides to
lock the settings.
Close the cover feed section cover.
