Cleaning the Book Block Sensor

The book block sensor at the level plate section will not work correctly if it is covered with paper dust or
dust. Clean it periodically.
Move the carriage clamp away from the
level plate.
(1) Press the
The Bookbinding – Maintenance screen
appears.
(2) Press the
The carriage clamp moves.
Press the Emergency Stop button.
Clean the book block sensor.
• Use a brush to clean the book block sensor and
mirror.
Release the Emergency Stop button, and
press the
The carriage clamp returns to the original
position.
