Replacing the Milling Brushes

If milling trim is scattered, the milling brushes may be worn out. Check the milling brushes, and if they are worn out,
replace the milling brushes. Follow the steps listed below.
WARNING
•Wear work gloves for this job, and avoid
touching the edge of the cutter blade.
The sharp edges may cut you.
WARNING
•The melt tank is still hot immediately
after the power is turned off. Do not
touch the tank.
Enter 1mm as the book block thickness and do
a changeover to close the milling guide.
• This prevents your hands from touching the
cutter.
Turn the power switch off.
Remove the adjusting side brush.
Remove the register side brush.
• Loosen the screws using the supplied stubby driver.
Remove the right brush bracket and the
left brush bracket.
