3-2-1 Replacing the tank unit

If you need to change the type of spine glue, replace the glue tank and set the notching cutter and PUR chip cutter.
This procedure explains how to exchange the EVA tank and PUR tank.
The melt tank will remain hot for a while
even after the power switch has been
turned off. Before replacing the tank unit,
wait for the tank to cool off. Otherwise,
the hot parts may cause burns.
Turn the power switch off.
Open the nipping section bottom cover
and left front cover.
Pull out the tank unit.
(1) Loosen the locking knob.
(2) Pull the tank unit toward you.
(3) Tighten the locking knob so that the tank unit
will not move.
Remove the front bottom cover on the
tank assembly.
• Loosen the two mounting screws.
Unplug the two connectors.
