Replacing the Milling Cutter

If the milling cutter is dull, the glue will not stick properly to the spine of the book, and the spine will not be formed
correctly. Replace the milling cutter using this procedure.
WARNING
• Before loosening the mounting screws for
the milling cutter, be sure to turn the power
switch off. Also, place a piece of thick
cloth over the cutter to ensure that your
hands will not touch the cutter.
• Wear work gloves for this job, and
avoid touching the edge of the cutter
blade. The sharp edges may cut you.
WARNING
• The melt tank is still hot immediately
after the power is turned off. Do not
touch the tank.
Turn the power switch off.
Remove the register side brush.
• Loosen the screws using the accessory stubby
driver.
Remove the adjusting side brush.
The adjusting side brush
can be removed by
loosening the screws.
